About tour
The guided tour of the Peterhof’s Grand Palace has always been popular with our guests. The palace is a real attraction for tourists due to its spectacular interiors, abundance of gold, the history of the place closely related to the history of the Romanov family, and the incredible story of the palace emerging anew from ruins. In the summer time, you will see fountains through the palace’s wide open windows with smooth water of the Gulf of Finland in the distance, which just adds charm to the palace magnificent as it is. After the private Grand Palace tour, you have a tour of the Lower Park ahead of you. In the summer time, you will see numerous fountains, statues and pavilions. In the winter, statues are hidden in cases but you can always spend longer time at the palace and reduce the walk in the park. Fast walkers can go as far as the Gulf of Finland coast to view at a distance – weather permitting, of course - St.Petersburg to the east and Kronstadt to the west.

Russian ballet is primarily a classical ballet that preserves the traditions of the 19th century. This does not mean that we do not have a modern ballet, we have one, and it is a very good modern ballet (for example, the Boris Eifman troupe). But it is classical ballet that is truly unique, because nowhere else in the world is it raised to such a high level.
